Strategic Buyer

specialized in Springs&Fastners, Machined parts, Electronics and PCBA.

The new role - challenging and future-oriented

  • Procurement and Controlling Activities: Calculating and monitoring KPIs for procurement, ensuring objectives are met efficiently.

  • Supplier Identification: Exploring and evaluating the local market to find potential suppliers for materials and services.

  • Offer Processing and Analysis: Comparing received offers and selecting suitable suppliers in accordance with internal procedures.

  • Contract Finalization: Negotiating and formalizing procurement contracts for materials and services, establishing delivery terms, packaging conditions, and other essential details.

  • Supplier Relationship Maintenance: Keeping regular and constructive contact with suppliers to ensure successful collaboration.

  • Internal Cooperation: Ensuring good collaboration with all involved departments, facilitating a harmonious workflow.

  • Cost Optimization: Identifying and proposing measures to reduce costs without compromising efficiency and process compliance.

Qualifications – Solid and Relevant

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in procurement, with a deep understanding of specific processes and procedures.

  • Education: University degree in economics or engineering.

  • Language Skills: Advanced level of English. Knowledge of German is an advantage.

  • Organizational Skills: Excellent planning and organizational skills, with strong analytical thinking abilities.

  • Communication and Negotiation Skills: Advanced communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.

  • IT Proficiency: Good PC skills, especially in the use of MS Office.
