Responsibilities
This is a great opportunity to work in the behavioral healthcare field. The Mental Health Technician provides direct patient care under the supervision of the Nurse Manager or a registered nurse. Primary responsibilities include the provision of a safe and therapeutic milieu, crisis intervention, and activities of daily living. This position works 12 hour shifts. We have both day and overnight shifts available. 6:30am to 7:00pm or 6:30pm to 7:00am, with every other weekend rotation.
Job Duties and Responsbilities:
Monitors unite milieu and maintains a safe therapeutic environment for patients.
Completes patient observation rounds timely, and accurately
Responds to patients in crisis and acts accordingly

Qualifications
Mental Health Tech Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a psychology-related field is highly preferred
High School Diploma or GED required.
Valid Drivers License with safe driving record
