Job Overview
The Manager, Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis position will support the Director of Finance with the forecasting and planning of costs within the Corporate Segment and assist with FCF and Working Capital analysis. This position will be a part of the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis team. This highly visible role will partner with members of the Executive Leadership team in developing their functional spending plans and provide value-added analytical support to be applied by the Executive Leadership in making financial decisions.

A Day In The Life
Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, support schedules and KPIs
Provide analysis of key variances and effectively communicate the “underlying story behind the numbers” for monthly management alignment meetings
Partner with Executive Team to develop Annual Plans, quarterly forecasts, and latest estimates of spending trends
Strengthen communication of financial information to non-financial partners
Provide Controllership Team with YOY cost bridge (IVA) for Corporate Segment used in external reporting (10K, 10Q)
Assist in developing timelines and deliverables for Annual Operating Plan and Forecasts for the Corporate Segment
Communicate Shared Service cost allocation drivers and methodology to key stakeholders
Efficiently obtain, organize, and transform data in Excel, Power BI or other tool to provide insights into trends and improve accuracy of submissions
Simplify processes to reduce time and costs through automation of routine FP&A tasks.
Periodically evaluate reporting processes for total Hubbell FP&A and make recommendations for enhancements
Work with finance teams within Corporate Segment to align on forecasting processes where applicable
Assist with FCF and working capital analysis
Build presentations for the Senior Leadership team
Assist the FP&A Team and management with other projects or tasks as requested
This position reports directly to the Director Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis.
What will help you thrive in this role?
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
7-10+ years of experience in planning and forecasting
Demonstrated ability to create analytical models and tools for scenario planning or ad hoc analysis (advanced Excel)
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate efficiently and effectively across various levels of the organization
Must be a team player with the ability to multi-task but at times work independently and be accountable for results
SAP and Power BI experience preferred, OneStream a strong plus
Strong oral and written communication skills and PowerPoint presentation skills
