Robert Half International Sales Assistant in SHELBY TWP, Michigan

A Sales Assistant position has become available at a firm based in the Auburn Hills, Michigan area, which will be offered through OfficeTeam on a short-term temporary-to-full-time basis.

Your responsibilities

  • Assisting with preparations for trade shows and conventions and attending them

  • Supporting sales teams by providing administrative, technical and clerical support

  • Assisting the sales department in promoting company products and services

-Answering a high number of incoming calls

  • Drafting correspondence and proofreading documents

  • Providing superior customer service

  • Ensuring process completion by assisting with coordinating orders

  • Providing all other Sales Assistant-related duties as needed

  • Administering and arranging training courses for internal employees

  • Producing sales reports and preparing presentations


  • Superb social skills, experience with project coordination, and capable of working well with staff at all levels and outside clients and vendors

  • Employer suggests 2+ years of Sales Assistant experience

  • Excellent problem solving skills in Microsoft Office applications

-Adaptability is a must as well as the ability to multitask

  • Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • General familiarity with Answering Multi-Line Phone System

  • Deep understanding of customer service

  • Adeptness in Answering Inbound Calls

  • Call Center Customer Service experience

  • Experience with data entry

  • Solid understanding of Inbound Sales

  • Superior Customer Service experience

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Answering Inquiries

  • Answering Inquiries experience highly preferred

  • Practical knowledge of Answering Inbound Calls

  • Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with individuals of all backgrounds
