*Summary/Objective *
*The position of CNC operator is responsible for the set-up and running of the CNC Machines.

Essential Functions
- Performs set up, adjustments and operation of 3 and 5 Axis CNC machines.
- Performs routine maintenance on machines and monitors the tool wear.
- Maintains part integrity and holds tight tolerances per specs.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

- Able to take Line-up's
Able to operate machine without supervision and knows how to maintain and calibrate machine when needed.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or 4:30 p.m. or 5:30 p.m. depending on workload and 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday as needed.

Required Education
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Education and Experience
- Industry experience of 2 or more years required.
- Good math skills.
- Detail oriented and work independently
- Experience reading blueprints.
- Experience with Fidia C20, TPI 2000, Fanuc, Siemens and Fadel machines.
- Experience using NC Works desired.
- Microsoft Office Suite.
