Robert Half Plant/Business Unit Controller in Shelby, North Carolina
Description We are in search of a diligent and meticulous Controller (Plant) to join our team in Shelby, North Carolina. This role involves maintaining and updating general ledgers, supporting the Controller with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings, and assisting with annual audit reporting. Additionally, the successful candidate will be expected to facilitate various ad hoc accounting projects and maintain files and documentation in accordance with company policy.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain and update the general ledger by posting daily financial transactions, including accounts receivable and payable
• Keep account balances and perform bank reconciliations
• Support the Controller with the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing
• Assist with annual audit reporting and preparation of regulatory filings
• Facilitate various ad hoc accounting projects, including manufacturing cost accounting, budgets, and forecasts
• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and controls
• Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and NetSuite for accounting functions
• Maintain the General Ledger, Month End Close, Profit Loss, and Balance Sheets
• Conduct Balance Sheet Reviews as needed. Requirements • Must possess expertise in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions.
• Proficiency in Accounting Functions is required for this role.
• Experience with NetSuite software is essential.
• Must have a strong understanding of General Ledger operations.
• Ability to manage Month End Close activities is required.
• Should have skills in Profit Loss assessment and management.
• Experience in handling Balance Sheets is necessary.
• Should be capable of conducting Balance Sheet Reviews effectively.
