Description Essential Functions Measure, fit and apply custom orthopedic devices and OTS products. Able to effectively educate patients, family members and co-workers on DME products, orthopedic devices. Ability to interact positively with physicians, clients and co-workers. Effective and clear written, verbal and non-verbal communication, pleasant and effective telephone communication skills. Apply basic computer skills to proficiently use variety software application such as Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Records. Authorize/pre-cert insurance for orthopedic devices, initiate self- pay Items as needed Track, organize, restock and dispense inventory regularly. Take measurements/ fit patient for functional/ OA bracing when needed. Will move between the locations as scheduled for coverage. Required For All Jobs Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation. Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
