PSG is now seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our Sheboygan Family Find program. The goal of Family Finding is to support families who are involved with the child welfare system in Sheboygan County, but the case does not necessitate a Child Protective Services/Child Welfare case assignment. As the Family Resource Specialist, you will collaborate with families to identify their areas of need and connect families to resources that address their individualized needs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE FAMILY RESOURCE SPECIALIST: Contact and connect with families to identify areas of need Meet in-person with families within the home, in the community, and/or at the office Manage an assigned caseload of families with various levels of need Research resources related to parenting resources, housing, food insecurity, childcare, school issues, mental health services, substance abuse services, family benefits, and other community partnerships Compile a resource guide to use when working with families Accurately update and maintain all relevant databases LOCATION: Sheboygan, WI. Local travel is required to meet at client homes throughout Sheboygan County, with mileage reimbursement. SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm WHY WORK WITH PSG/CIP? SALARY: \$20.00 per hour REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelor\'s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or related. Must have reliable transportation on a daily basis, a valid driver\'s license, and automobile insurance. One year of experience working with at-risk youth and families is preferred, but not required.
