POSITION SUMMARY
As the Senior Manager of Enterprise Product Management, you will lead a team of professionals to develop and deliver solutions that enhance stakeholder and user experiences, drive volume and profit growth, mitigate business risks, and improve efficiency. You will empower, support, and coach your team to continuously improve their product management skills and achieve impactful outcomes. Ensuring that team decisions are driven by curiosity, rigorous analysis, research, and experimentation—both qualitative and quantitative—is crucial. Your team will use analytical insights, customer feedback, technical considerations, and business strategy to plan and execute product features. Collaboration with technical managers, product leaders, functional leaders, and business leaders on strategic platform/product discovery, delivery, and outcome validation is essential. Additionally, you will help the team prioritize problem-solving efforts, reduce development risks, and validate the impact on targeted users and stakeholders.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
Lead a team of professionals providing strategic mentorship, guidance, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. Support and coach team members in their skills and career development.
Set the overarching product vision and ensure the team builds and maintains product roadmaps that align with key outcome milestones and strategic goals.
Ensure the team conducts rigorous quantitative and qualitative research and experimentation to identify, test, validate, develop, and implement products and features with the fastest time to targeted and sustainable strategic outcomes.
Oversee the team's management of discovery, development, and deployment from start to finish, including stakeholder management and communication of results, insights, and recommendations.
Mitigate technological investment risks by challenging team assumptions and biases, ensuring hypotheses behind proposed investments are tested and validated, and auditing and improving existing investments.
Manage trade-offs and help the team evaluate new ideas and opportunities with stakeholders, driving alignment while maintaining a clear focus on overarching business priorities.
Navigate an ambiguous environment from a strategic and tactical perspective, as the product management function continues to mature.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal operational, commercial, technological, and financial partners, as well as external carriers, tech partners, channel partners, and customers.
Serve as an escalation point for your team, helping to break barriers, reduce friction, accelerate decision-making, and escalate issues to leadership as appropriate.
Identify systemic issues that hinder product success or discovery/development efforts and escalate these issues along with potential solutions.
Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in enterprise product management to drive continuous improvement.
Design product value propositions for large audiences, including PR, marketing, and sales.
Oversee and adhere to workplace conduct, risk management, and compliance practices within the function, including regulatory compliance and internal audit requests, and implement process changes as necessary.
Communicate organizational or divisional initiatives and announcements to employees across multiple locations.
Team Leadership:
Champion talent development through a holistic approach to performance management, encompassing both formal and informal methods.

Set annual performance goals aligned with organizational objectives and cascade them throughout the operations organization.
Manage the performance and development of direct and indirect reports through formal and informal processes, coaching, feedback, and mentoring.
Assess, calibrate, and strategically manage talent, emphasizing individual and team development, career pathing, and succession planning of strategic operations roles within the region.
Ensure consistent and appropriate compensation administration.
Review engagement measures and implement action plans to enhance culture, collaboration, and employee satisfaction.
Hold direct reports accountable for the successful execution of assigned duties and goals.
Visibly lead and support change management initiatives, including communication, implementation, and reinforcement.
Drive employee engagement and enablement by modeling key HR practices, such as employee development, performance management, recognition programs, retention, talent management, and team communications.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Bachelor's degree in business, technology, engineering, or 4-year degree from an accredited college or university
7 years of experience in product management or a role that heavily relies on scientific, technological, engineering, or mathematical methods.
Minimum 3 years of experience in team leadership and people management.
Ability to work in Shanghai or travel up 25%
Fluent in English
Preferred:
Mandarin speaking
Proven experience in developing and executing product roadmaps that deliver on stated business objectives.
Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex products.
Experience managing day-to-day project/program communications to a broad stakeholder group and contributing to senior executive management reports and business presentations.
Strong leadership and management skills to guide and motivate a team of product managers.
Ability to provide mentorship, feedback, and professional development to team members.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and senior management.
Aligns team(s) performance to CHR’s strategic objectives and cascades communication on office, divisional and organizational initiatives to ensure employee’s understanding and alignment
Ability to foster collaboration and teamwork across different departments, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and make data-driven decisions.
Deep understanding of b2b software applications best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across various levels of the organization.
Proficiency in using product management and collaboration tools.
