Google Staff Software Engineer, Pixel Experiences in Shanghai, China

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (e.g., Software Engineering, Math, etc.).

  • 8 years of experience in software development with programming and debugging (e.g., Java, Kotlin, etc.).

  • Experience with Android software design and implementation.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in mobile software engineering development.

  • Knowledge of Android.

  • Ability to lead and drive projects that require strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to ramp up and learn quickly in a technically complex domain.

  • Ability to work effectively with cross-function area leaders.

  • Leverage new technologies to innovate and build new experiences for Pixel devices.

  • Drive scalable and sustainable design and development that solve strategic business objectives.

  • Ensure product excellence, technical excellence, and system performance.
