Amazon Product Marketing Manager in Shanghai, China

Description

Amazon is seeking for a dynamic, multi-talented, deadline-oriented Product Marketing Manager to drive Selection growth in each category in cross-border e-commerce. The ideal candidate is passionate about content creation with proven experience of increasing product adoption and engagement for B2B audience.

The Product Marketing Manager will be accountable for driving go-to-market and adoption of key Category Selection programs, manage Category communication and facilitate seller success of Category by providing in-depth education from content strategy to creation.

This role will work closely with business teams, marketing channels, PR and stakeholders in worldwide. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with ambiguity and executing at pace. They will be a team player – able to partner with agencies or internal teams, to figure out what is best for our customers. Lastly, the Product Marketing Manager will own testing and measurement, optimizing for what drives engagement and reporting the impact of the content marketing on the business growth.

Key job responsibilities

· Own SELECTION marketing and education strategy, prioritization, initiative and roadmap planning;

· Own SELECTION programs’ positioning, value proposition, key message and content development;

· Drive SELECTION programs’ go-to-market communications and long-term adoption;

· Own marketing and education content roadmap and create various content tools (success stories, pitch decks, flyers, videos, Seller University curriculums and etc.) for Seller engagement and education;

· Dive Deep into Sellers’ performance from SELECTION perspective, figure out challenges and opportunities for marketing and education;

· Drive Seller insights generation for the company to optimize product/program offerings;

· Set up SELECTION marketing input and output goals, design and track marketing metrics and always seeking ways to improve;

· Build strong relationships with senior leaders on internal stakeholder teams including sales, account management, business intellection, product and senior leadership teams in worldwide.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion

  • Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing and communication, business, or other related field or equivalent experience.

  • · 8+ years relevant work experience in marketing. Ideally in product marketing, content marketing, ecommerce, direct working experience with global teams.

  • · 3+ years’ experience managing and measuring content marketing.

  • · 3+ years’ experience in eCommerce execution and management.

  • · Ability to use hard data and metrics from disparate data sources to measure marketing performance, determine improvements and innovations.

  • · Demonstrated capacity to thrive in a fast paced workplace and deal with ongoing change and ambiguity.

  • · Proven track record establishing program(s) end-to-end, from the ground up.

  • · Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing external partners to develop marketing programs

  • Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives

  • Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously, as well as stakeholder expectations.
