The Job
As a Key Account Manager, you’ll be part of our team located in Shanghai. You’ll get to:
Develop the new business for the China EV Battery customer; work with key account customers to identify fastening and other potential product application teamwork with EV BD Team.
Fight for more new potential business and New RFQ and try to make the quotation to the customer independently and follow it up closely to make sure new business is nominated.
Collaborate with key/ target/ strategic customers to organize technical seminars/ conferences and presentations to support market growth effort.
Visit the key customers on a regular basis to better understand their requirements and seek out new business opportunities independently.
Secure orders and work with customer service and the plants to ensure timely delivery of products.
Inventory management with support of customer service to balance timely delivery and lowest freight cost, in case delivery risk is predicted, should alert customer in advance with suitable methods accepted by customer.
Coordinate and work with various groups across the organization to address customer complaints.
Collect market information that would help in decision making and the planning of marketing and sales strategy
Prepare sales forecast and budgets for customer accounts handled.
Prepare various sales reports, such as but not limited in new business, customer call status, etc.

The Person

Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
At least 5 years working experience in EV battery industry.
To be familiar with the EV battery structure and application.
Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
At least CET-6 required, Write and Speak in English very well.
Self motivated and willing to work in a fast paced and dynamic business environment servicing customers from the automotive industry.
Self-starter who can work under pressure with flexibility to adapt to work and business travel requirements.
MS office skill.
