Cargill FP&A Lead - CASC APAC (China) in Shanghai, China

Job Purpose and Impact

The FP&A Lead - CASC APAC (China) is a contributing partner in the development of our business or functional strategy, sets clear financially focused targets and ensures effective deployment of capital within the business or function. You will be a strategic influencer and vital business partner for both finance and cross-functional leadership by developing strong plans and drive financial rigor to achieve, and be accountable for, financial results and value creation.

Key Accountabilities

  • Serve as the strategic finance leader for a global or regional highly complex business or function.

  • Lead, coordinate and link all planning and forecasting processes for the global business and understands key drivers of results and related sensitivities.

  • Utilize technology to drive aligned performance management of the business and employ advanced modeling skills that bring new perspectives to the business.

  • Lead all aspects of the development and delivery of presentations including defending positions on controversial topics, adapting style to continuously seek win-win' solutions.

  • Create performance metrics to steer strategy execution.

  • Consult on new product development projects, develop necessary financial projections and sensitivity and approves the final financial forecasts and models for the business.

  • Apply expert commercial knowledge with an understanding of how all areas come together and operate as a business.

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Provide expert consultative guidance for initiating strategic long-range goals and objectives. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of eight years of related work experience

  • Strong business acumen is required

  • Other minimum qualifications may apply
