Summary

Responsibilities

  • Assist in all HR duties of a basic to moderately complex nature in areas such as employee on-boarding/off-boarding, maintaining employee records and documentation, background checks, benefits packages, etc.

  • Assist HR managers in managing the online hiring process flow, up to and including onboarding, to ensure a flawless experience for candidate and manager.

  • Assist with recruiting related activities, such as reference checks and scheduling drug screens.

  • Create and maintain reports to track hires.

  • Conduct audits of various HR programs and completes administrative corrective actions as needed.

  • Input new employee information into HRIS, Payroll and time and attendance systems.

  • Assist with maintenance of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) assuring employee confidential information is tracked using data integrity.

  • Conduct accurate employment verifications in a timely manner.

  • Provide assistance to less tenured team members.

  • Perform other responsibilities as needed or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (required)

  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources

  • High School diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications

  • Solid HR support experience

  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products, experience with Payroll, HRIS and benefits databases

  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters

  • Ability to work independently in functional area

Physical Requirements

CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications.
