Your future success starts here! Summary The Truck Driver is responsible for transporting agricultural, construction, and residential equipment between customer and dealership locations. In addition, the Truck Driver provides customer service and promotes the company to all customers. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Operates a commercial motor vehicle. Inspects vehicles to ensure that they are safe to operate and meet all relevant regulations. Follows all driving laws and vehicle safety procedures. Secures and inspects cargo for safe transportation. Records all driving and load activity on applicable forms. Maneuvers vehicles to designated locations. Prepares, loads, and unloads equipment on vehicles. Reports vehicle defects, maintenance needs, accidents, and traffic violations. Performs basic vehicle maintenance. Reads and interprets maps to determine travel routes. Completes and obtains payment and required signatures on customer paperwork. Assists with yard and lot maintenance as needed. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no direct reports. Required Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or equivalent 1-3 years of related experience hauling, loading and securing equipment Current/Unrestricted Class A Commercial Driver\'s License (CDL) in the State of Wisconsin Preferred Education and/or Experience Program Certificate in a related field 3-5 years of related experience Qualifications All Service Motor Company employees are expected to have a friendly, positive attitude, a sense of urgency, and the ability to multi-task and solve problems. The following qualifications are required for this position.
