At SeaView Community Services, it is our mission to provide community based services that strengthen families, foster self-sufficiency and enhance quality of life. The Assisted Living Home houses up to 7 residents and is staffed 24/7 with providers working under the close direction of the on-site Clinical Program Manager. The home environment provides a community of peers that allow each resident to learn to take responsibility for their own behavior and how it affects others. They learn to respect the needs of other community members as well. Many of our residents gain enough skills that they can transition to a lower level of care with greater independence. As a Clinical Associate, you will be working 1-on-1 and in groups with individuals with serious mental illness. Clinical Associates monitor client behavior, provide support and training in a variety of settings including in the Assisted Living Home and community locations (e.g., stores, shopping malls, parks). Clinical Associates are responsible for implementing the treatment plan and providing individual and group skill building services that support recovery. Clinical Associates also organize and lead healthy extracurricular opportunities for clients that advance skills and improve self-esteem. MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS: (Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education and Experience.) Education: High School diploma or GED required. Experience: One year of paid job-related work experience preferred. Skills: Ability to organize and prioritize work with minimal supervision. Ability to work with and relate effectively to individuals with emotional difficulties. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Other: Valid driver's license required to conduct company business, satisfactory driving record, pre-employment drug screening, background check and TB test.
