Job title – Manager, Regulatory Affairs - TTH South Korea

Location – Seoul, South Korea

Job model – Hybrid

This role involves proactively collaborating with businesses and customers to propose innovative strategies that drive growth while advising key departments—such as Marketing, Sales, and Product Management—on regulatory pathways relevant to South Korea and potentially other APAC regions. The position aspires to excel in customer support and foster strong relationships concerning regulatory matters, while also protecting future business interests through advocacy and engagement in industry associations.

Your key responsibilities

• Monitor the relevant regulations, guidelines, and standards applicable to TTH, and assess the business impact, providing guidance and compliant solutions

• Promote the regulatory fundamentals and standards of dsm-firmenich

• Develop and execute regulatory strategies to support business objectives and ensure market access for TTH

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (MFDS, KFFA, FIA) to align regulatory strategy with overall business objectives

• Manage the Dossiers preparation for product approval in collaboration with product and project management based on the global regulatory affairs strategies in APAC. Adapt and submit the dossiers to the local authorities in South Korea, follow up on the approval process

• Support the deployment and implementation of innovation by providing an approval strategy and collaborating with regulatory authorities and government agencies to support product registration and claims substantiation

You bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Sciences, Genetic Engineering or Biochemistry or a related field

• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in regulatory affairs within the F&B industry. Experience in Pet food industry will be an advantage

• Proven track record of successful regulatory submissions and approvals

• Knowledge on regulations and standards on food, food ingredients, food additives and/or pet food (preferred).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Native in Korean and Business level for English (written and verbal)
