Position Overview
The Product Sales Specialist drives sales revenue and market development of focus products (AutoCAD) with existing sales channels.
Create a business plan that includes target customer segments, and resources, and that solve needs for the defined Territory/Industry segments.
Plan selling strategies to grow the revenue base and adoption cycle for select product(s) and form relationships with customers/partners, and other internal sales teams
Attend regular customer/partner meetings, events, and training (internal and external)
Provide regular feedback to the product, industry & strategic marketing teams on the assigned product(s)
Deliver an accurate forecast of business in the specified territory
Promote both direct and indirect sales opportunities with internal Autodesk sales teams, and resellers to build opportunity pipelines within the assigned territory
Collaborate with the marketing team to run/attend events following company growth strategies, become familiar with sales promotions, and provide guidance on business planning on an ongoing basis
Be a representative of Autodesk, and give presentations to client groups
Keep up-to-date with market trends and new developments utilizing information for business improvement
Utilize and refine sales collateral provided by technical marketing to develop and repeatable sales play that lead to increased adoption of Autodesk solutions
Determine positioning, identify requirements, and utilize relevant forums and associations to increase awareness of assigned product(s)
Responsibilities

Develop deep relationships with leading influential customers
Involved with lead customer product development activities
Understand main aspects of our customers' business and development needs, and be able to apply Autodesk technologies to improve
Represent Autodesk, and it's leading customers, through the delivery of articles, presentations, demonstrations
Use modern communication channels (blogs, social media) to communicate with our wider design community
Deliver feedback to marketing & product development to improve our offerings
Report to D&M Sales Leader
Minimum Qualifications
Experience communicating product benefits appropriate for each prospect to clarify and summarize complex issues for executives, business development leaders, and engineers. You'll need to be a great storyteller and effortlessly adapt your communication style depending on the audience
Persuasion, Experience balancing multiple sales opportunities Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects. You'll Experience balancing multiple sales opportunities, and be at ease leading teams without formal authority
Hands-on experience in social media
Knowledge and familiarity with modern CAD design and engineering tools
Bachelor's degree in product design or engineering
