Philips Partner Account Manager in Seoul, South Korea

Job title: Partner Account Manager

Business: Health Systems

Function: Indirect Sales, PD/iGT

Role Summary

Responsible for defining and effectively executing the Philips-Partner Strategy to sustainably grow the business.

This includes, as main point of Partner contact, the creation and execution of a joint business plan and capability development of Partner to drive and achieve set (yearly) targets. In addition, a Partner Account Manager understands the optimized Go to Market set-up in the assigned territory and will drive it accordingly (in alignment with Regional Management Strategy). Depending on the size and complexity of the business, a Partner Account Manager can manage one or more Partners.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Responsible to share PD/iGT (MR/CT/Angio/C-arm/DxR) sales information and educate partners.

  • Set annual targets per channel and prepare joint business plan.

  • Ensure planning of partner performance review and execution.

  • Establish and monitor partner capability development plan executiona report progress.

  • Perform partner funnel management and derive partner forecast.

  • Supports credit collection process.

  • Normal standard dispute resolution between Philips and partners.

  • Ensure that Equipment sales operational support is provided to the partners at the required level.

  • Drive continuous improvements applying right process.

  • Organize partner events.

Qualifications & Requirements

1. Experience and Industry Knowledge :

  • Minimum +10 years of experience in account management, sales, business development or partner management particularly within the relevant industry

  • Strong understanding of the Korean market dynamics, cultural practices, and business landscape.

2. Relationship Management :

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and customer

  • Experience in establishing trust and effectively managing partner expectations.

3. Communication Skills :

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Korean and English.

  • Ability to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively.

4. Strategic Thinking :

  • Capability to develop and implement strategic plans that align with company and partner objectives.

  • Proficiency in identifying opportunities for growth and collaboration.

5. Problem Solving and Negotiation :

  • Strong problem-solving skills to address partner concerns and challenges.

  • Expertise in negotiation to secure beneficial agreements and partnerships.

6. Sales Acumen :

  • Demonstrated track record of meetings or exceeding sales targets.

  • Ability to forecast sales trends and manage a sales pipeline effectively.

  • Familiar of using sales tools program ie. SFDC, CRM

  • Ability to demonstrated structured sales process on E2E partner engagement

7. Collaboration and Teamwork :

  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams across different functions.

  • Experience in coordinating with marketing, product development, and support teams to ensure partner success.

8. Adaptability and Cultural Sensitivity :

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business environments and partner needs.

  • Cultural sensitivity to engage with diverse groups and understand local market nuances.

9. Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications can be a plus.
