Job Description
Danfoss is looking for a Lifecycle Service Sales Engineer is responsible for a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business with those clients and actively seek new service sales opportunities.
Service Sales includes all products of Danfoss Drives to cover the needs of our customers installed base. The position will be part of the Local Sales organization. The person is fully accountable to maximize the revenue in service sales and improve the entire customer experience with DDS installed base.
To success in this position, you have a flair for client communication and understand production and maintenance manager behaviors and needs. Ideally, candidates for this role will know how to meet ambitious individual and team-wide sales targets.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to all stakeholders
Develop business with existing clients and identify areas of improvement to meet sales targets
Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
Main customer focus is with local end users, but providing leads and taking leads based on Global Key Accounts End customer or larger international groups is as well part of the role
Identify business opportunities from market feedback and data collection

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
Bachelor’s degree in electric/mechatronics engineering
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
An appropriate technical degree in Power, Electrical & Electronics or Control and Instrumentation/Automation
Experience in pre-sales or project sales in marine industry
Experience in project management.
Knowledge of generators, drives, motors, transformers, cabling and drives
Experience in engineering drive solutions systems preferred
Experience in working for matrix management, cross-functional collaboration
High level of energy and ability to build relationships and trust across countries/cultures
Strong communication skills
