Job Summary

The ROSA Knee system supports surgeons in performing Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA) with features to assist with the bone resections, as well as assessing the state of the soft tissues to facilitate implant positioning intraoperatively.

The Field Service Engineer is responsible for providing technical support and expertise to existing and potential customers. The support takes on many forms and shapes, ranging from technical support with our equipment to clinical application questions across a wide range of indications. It also includes on-site application support, training of healthcare professionals and after-sales product servicing and maintenance, together with our territory sales force. This role need to become a ROSA System expert in order to support the development of marketing programs and selling activities.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Product Demonstrations/In-Services

  • Lead all technical in-services for customers to include OR staff, surgeons, etc.

  • Provide after-sales service to customers including installation, repair, maintenance and troubleshooting.

Case Support

  • Be a resource to HCPs, sales team and distributor by providing guidance, insight and technique troubleshooting on the use of ROSA Systems.

  • Educated and train local sales team, distributor and HCPs in the proper use of ROSA systems

Administrative Duties

  • Responsibly manage administrative tasks; reporting of sales/procedures, outcomes of sales activities, submission of expense reports, etc.

Expected Areas of Competence (i.e. KSAs)

  • Good selling and interpersonal skills plus pleasant personality

  • Strong focus on repair maintenance and troubleshooting

  • Excellent customer service, desire to acquire knowledge and drive to succeed

Education/ Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Automotive Engineering.

  • Proficient in English communication (speaking, writing, reading).

  • Experience in robotics-related tasks or a relevant field.

Travel Requirements

  • Need to be able to travel overseas
