nVent Engineering Project Leader in Seoul, South Korea

What YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Review engineering project specifications, scope, schedule, budget and deliverables
Attend kick off and/or client status meetings with Project Manager (PM) and client representatives
Perform project setup tasks in TracerLynx, Proman and Engineering Dashboard
Direct and manage design resources to meet project time and budgetary constraints
Generate Requests For Information (RFI’s) during project execution as required
Assemble and release work packages for all engineering deliverables in order of priority as determined by the project schedule
Use advanced software such as NavisWorks, Smart Plant, AutoCAD and our in-house programs TRACERLYNX and PROMAN to optimize our design process
Provide technical support to clients, designers, and procurement/construction as required
Manage and track scope and direction changes and initiate change orders with PM
Perform project proposal & estimation against RFQ from various customers
Participate in development and improvement initiatives, and undertake internal and external training and product awareness
Ensure technical adherence within engineering projects.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
You have:
Academic background in Engineering,
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or technology diploma from an accredited university or college (Electrical or Mechanical disciplines preferred)
Previous experience in
Advanced electrical heat trace (EHT) products, designs, design tools, and low voltage power/control systems (7+ years)
Skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills (English), as well as the ability to present and influence views in a clear and compelling manner
Demonstrated skill to read and interpret product drawings
Solid leadership, time management, and problem solving
Self motivated with ability to work under limited supervision
