- Pay based on experience.
- Ensuring that all goods that are loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork
- Taking responsibility for a company's freight and assets by reporting any suspicious activity at work
- Storing and rotating stock according to established procedures
- Reporting any damaged or missing goods
- Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintaining equipment
- Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules and schedules
- Treating merchandise with care and concern at all times
- Inspect buildings, systems, and equipment regularly to identify potential issues
- Troubleshoot any issues
- Repair faulty equipment and components or schedule repairs if a specialist is needed
- Make minor building repairs, such as fixing drywall or repairing doors
- Assemble or disassemble equipment
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance
- Order necessary supplies
- Cleans the facilities and equipment
- Maintain a record of maintenance and repair tasks
- Follow safety rules
