Overview

Position: iProd Design Center Engineering Intern (May-August 2025) Must be a NACME Scholar to qualify for internship.

Location: Seneca Falls, NY

Major: Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering Technology or similar (Junior or Senior is preferred)

Academic Schedule: May-August 2025 (Full-time, 40 hours per week, 9 to 13 week internship)
Rate of Pay: $25.00/hour

During your internship you will conduct various engineering projects for one of the most recognizable pump brands in the world. Interns will also obtain firsthand experience in the design and manufacture of engineered to order high specification industrial pumps and monitoring equipment during the course of a twelve to fifteen week experience. When you join us, you’ll be part of a dynamic and diverse global team and you’ll get the resources and support needed to fulfill your personal and professional ambitions.



Responsibilities

  • Generation of solid models and detail design drawings
  • Plotting pump test data and evaluating it compared to expected performance
  • Generation of pump performance curves from test data
  • Process engineering change notices for various products
  • Work in R&D test lab setting up pumps for testing


Qualifications



  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Candidate must be enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in mechanical engineering/mechanical engineering technology or similar
  • Candidate must have completed 2 years of related college coursework
  • Must have an interest in supporting research and development and product engineering projects in a dynamic engineering environment
  • Knowledge of PTC Creo and MS Office is required
  • NACME scholar (required)

Eligibility Criteria for a 2025 NACME Corporate Scholar

  • US Citizenship/Permanent Resident
  • Current Undergraduate Student graduating no earlier than December 2025
  • Majoring in Engineering or Computer Science
  • Matriculating, and is in good standing, at a NACMEPartner University*
  • Grade Point Average: 2.8 GPA or higher
