ManpowerGroup Quality Control Analyst in Selden, New York
Our client, a leading global nutrition company, is seeking a Quality Control Analyst to join their team. As a Quality Control Analyst, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department, providing support to the manufacturing and packaging teams from an office-based role. This is a temp to hire opportunity.
Job Title: Quality Control Analyst
Location: Ronkonkoma, NY
Pay Range: $20 - $22 per hour
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
What's the Job?
Conduct from the quality control office pre-start-up inspection, documentation check and release to run product in manufacturing and/or packaging.
Conduct in-process sampling and physical testing of product with required paperwork.
Assist the supervisor on a daily basis.
Assist in training other Associates.
Comply with company policies and procedures and maintain regular work attendance.
What's Needed?
2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or food manufacturing required, preferably in a quality control role in an office setting, this is NOT a quality assurance role on the manufacturing floor
Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
Basic mathematical skills.
Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructions
Physical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb, bend within a manufacturing environment
Personal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs and cGMPs guidelines
