POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Suffolk County Community College is looking to fill a Part Time Custodial Worker Ipositon.

The shift will be from 6:00 pm – 11:00 pm Monday through Friday

  • Mops, applies floor finish, polishes and strips floor, vacuums carpets, dustand polishes furniture bookcases, paneling

  • Washes window, walls and wood work, empties garbage cans and trashbaskets

  • Cleans bathrooms

  • Moves furniture and equipment within a building from one place to anotheras directed

  • May perform painting during school recess

  • Shoveling snow spreading ice melt when the need arises

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

There are no minimum education or experience requirements for this position.

HIRING SALARY:

Night Shift: $16.50 per hour.
