TREE TOP INC Administrative Assistant in Selah, Washington
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: The Administrative Assistant is responsible for processing all incoming and outgoing mail inventory management for office, janitorial, and lunchroom supplies, providing backup for the front desk, and assisting with accounts payable tasks. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: This position reports to the Office Services Supervisor and does not supervise staff. The position works closely with employees, visitors, vendors, and suppliers. QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENTRY: KNOWLEDGE OF: Office administrative and management practices and procedures. Principles and practices of effective business communication; basic writing methods and techniques; correct English usage, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation. General knowledge of the various shipping methods and proper documentation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) ABILITY TO: Operate a variety of office machines such as copier, fax, postage machine, and folding machine. Prioritize, meet deadlines and multi-task. Meet behaviors established in Tree Top's Performance Culture and Values. Communicate by phone and email to various vendors and customers. EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION/LICENSES, AND TRAINING: High School Diploma or GED required. Valid Washington State Driver's License and possess good driving record. Prior experience in customer service highly preferred. Prior experience working in an office environment is highly preferred. Prior experience with data entry is highly preferred.
