Custom Truck One Source FINAL in Sedalia, Missouri

Summary:

Custom Truck One Source “CTOS” is a truck up-fitting and repair facility. As a member of Finals Assembly Team, you will support the Production Group to ensure all CTOS equipment is ready to be delivered to CTOS customers. You will work cooperatively with other team members to provide quality products to our customers in a safe, timely, cost-efficient manner following all policies, procedures, and protocols.

Essential Responsibilities & Requirements: Responsibilities

  • Follow direction of CTOS Leadership

  • Provide complete, high level customer products/service and support for internal and external customers.

  • Reads work order and performs work as outlined with efficiency and accuracy, by CTOS and factory standards.

  • The ability to move trucks in and out of the shop.

  • Communicates with Finals lead to obtain needed parts.

  • Documents work performed.

  • Uses and maintains all necessary shop and personal equipment required to complete any repairs or inspections.

  • Ensures that trucks and equipment are kept clean.

  • Understands and follows federal, state and local regulations such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes.

  • Attends factory-sponsored training classes.

  • Attends Custom Truck safety training and follows all safety requirements.

  • Must work with and for all departments in harmony.

Requirements

  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods.

  • Dexterity required to utilize power tools, and other tools required to do the job.

  • Ability to work in a safe environment and respect those around you.

  • Demonstrate regular and consistent attendance.

  • Ability to perform responsibilities at the designated site for designated hours as assigned, excluding holidays and PTO.

  • Ability to work without direct supervision.

  • Various projects as assigned

  • Candidate for hire must successfully pass a background check, a physical examination, audio exam, and drug screening test prior to employment.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED)

  • Must possess standard knowledge of hand and power tools and know how to use them

  • 1 year or more of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is desired.

  • Ability to enter data into computer or tablet.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Ability to use carts, forklifts, hand truck, pallet, jack and equipment of such nature

  • Ability to walk and stand on concrete and uneven surfaces for at least 8 hours per day
