The Role ...


In this role, you will provide support to the Buyer-Planner group by executing key activities such as: placing orders, following through on shipment deliveries as required, and providing reports related to supply chain. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator who exhibits organization skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This is a full-time non-exempt hourly position and is located at our Secaucus, NJ corporate headquarters.


Your Responsibilities ...

  • Create replenishment purchase orders for material requirements based on Buyer-Planner requisitions
  • Communicate with suppliers for acknowledgment of purchase orders and confirmation of shipping schedule, providing timely reports of any delays or issues
  • Ensure supplier's order tracking log is up-to-date to measure on-time delivery performance
  • Use department ASN report, shipment receipts and container status report (including online research) to update final ASN report
  • Update Weeks of Supply workbooks
  • Publish the weekly scratch report
  • Refresh periodic container tracker report and share with cross functional team
  • Review inventory and request actions to cross functional team as requested
  • Refresh and publish weekly Event report
Requirements

You'll Need ...

  • *Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration; in lieu of degree, 2 years' experience in Procurement or Supply Chain in a CPG environment
  • Experience in data entry and analysis
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Effective and proactive communication skills for internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, combined with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities while managing multiple tasks efficiently
