Robert Half Medical Payment Poster Specialist in Secaucus, New Jersey
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Payment Poster Specialist in the healthcare and social assistance industry. The selected candidate will be based in Secaucus, New Jersey. As a Medical Payment Poster Specialist, you will be responsible for managing claims, navigating insurance portals, and handling various billing functions.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process and post medical payments
• Utilize Accurint, Allscripts, and Crystal Reports for data mining and dynamic data exchange
• Understand and navigate different insurance portals for seamless operations
• Manage and resolve claim administration and appeals
• Undertake the electronic funds transfer (EFT) process and handle EFT payments
• Understand the Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and apply this knowledge in processing claims
• Carry out billing functions and collection processes efficiently
• Allocate account numbers and post information electronically
• Handle customer service related to claim administration and billing functions. Requirements • Proficiency in Accurint software is essential.
• Experience with Allscripts software is required.
• Familiarity with Crystal Reports is needed.
• Knowledge of Data Mining Techniques is essential.
• Understanding of Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) is necessary.
• Ability to handle Appeals effectively.
• Proficiency in Benefit Functions is required.
• Experience in Billing Functions is needed.
• Familiarity with Claim Administration is essential.
• Understanding of Collection Processes is necessary.
• Prior experience as a Medical Payment Poster is beneficial.
• Proficiency in Claims Processing is required.
• Understanding of EOB - Explanation of Benefits is needed.
• Familiarity with EFT - Electronic Funds Transfer is essential.
• Experience in handling EFT Payments is necessary.
