The Role ...


We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to join our Marketing e-Commerce team at Hartz! In this role, you'll collaborate closely with the Brand Management Team and media contacts, driving the success of our retail media campaigns. You'll play a key part in planning, executing, and optimizing campaigns across our retail media network, while ensuring consistent and impactful brand communication. Your efforts will help elevate our category objectives and strengthen the Hartz brand presence across platforms.


This position is located at our Secaucus, NJ office, and has the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule.


Your Responsibilities ...

  • Assist in planning, creating, and executing e-commerce and retail media activation plans across all Hartz categories through collaboration with media partners including Amazon Advertising, Chewy Advertising, Walmart Connect, and others
  • Lead hands-on, day-to-day campaign management (including Sponsored Ads Suite, Display, and Connected TV), working closely with the Director and media partners to ensure seamless execution that aligns with overall category, brand, and product objectives
  • Implement sponsored ads best practices and data-driven optimizations through keyword, bid, placement, or campaign structure to meet category-specific KPIs by channel, leveraging data from retail media partners and in-house optimization tools
  • Extract insights from various data sources (category insights, industry trends, sales performance, out-of-stock trends, etc.) to guide strategic campaign optimizations, both internally and in collaboration with our retail media partners
  • Leverage derived data insights for meaningful optimizations to campaigns through targeting, creative, budget allocation, campaign setup or campaign flighting to meet campaign goals and KPIs
  • Maximize efficiency and effectiveness of campaigns by understanding and developing new audience targeting approaches by category (1P, IM, LS)
  • Facilitate bi-weekly category campaign updates to ensure the Brand Team and VP of Marketing are informed about progress, key developments, optimization recommendations, emerging trends, and other relevant campaign insights
  • Utilize all e-commerce marketing and brand marketing reporting to analyze current channel trends, category trends, innovation performance, and brand objectives so all campaigns are aligned to achieve and maximize goals
  • Collaborate with Brand team, in-house creative team, and retail media partners to develop and optimize creative assets tailored to each ad unit, utilizing insights from previous campaigns and channel-specific best practices to drive maximum impact
  • Partner with agency of record for campaign transparency, shareable trends or optimizations, and creative fluidity for consistent brand messaging
  • Keep abreast with Retail Media best practices, industry/channel trends, and technology
Requirements

You'll Need ...

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business-related discipline; Marketing concentration preferred
  • Experience: 2+ years of e-commerce Retail Media or Digital Marketing experience; Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry preferred
  • Retail Media Expertise: Proven experience as a key contributor in managing successful retail media campaigns across multiple platforms (Amazon, Chewy, and Walmart channels preferred)
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights for optimizing campaigns
  • Organizational Skills: Effective organizational skills coupled with excellent attention to detail
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with key stakeholders, including leadership
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs
