Copeland Oaks is a Continuing Care Retirement Community located on 250 acres in Sebring Ohio. Copeland Oaks is currently hiring for a full time Grounds Worker. The Grounds Worker position is responsible to help maintain the 250 acre campus of Copeland Oaks, reporting to the Grounds Supervisors. Duties of the Grounds Worker include but not limited to: spring and fall cleanup, snow and ice removal, hand shoveling as well as running snow removal machine, plant and weed identification, pruning, mowing, mulching, planting, weeding and watering. Requires the ability to work both supervised and unsupervised, ability to operate power equipment including snow removal equipment, trucks, tractor, zero turn mowers, hedge trimmers, weed eaters, blowers etc. The Grounds Worker is also responsible to assist with inside maintenance and resident moves. Applicants who have disqualifying offenses under Senate Bill 160 may be disqualified from employment. Copeland Oaks conducts Criminal Background checks through the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
