Amazon WW Security Partner Development Specialist, Security Partner Specialists in Seattle, Washington

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a world class partner and alliance leader to join the WW Security Partner Specialists team.

As a Security Partner Development Specialist (PDS), you will have the exciting opportunity to lead WW security thought leadership and demand generation business development efforts with AWS Partners including Global and Regional System Integrators (SI), Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), and Managed Security Service providers (MSSP). As a WW Security PDS, you will work with Partners to help them scale their better together (AWS + Partner) security value propositions to reach customers via mechanisms including online shows Partners LIVE!, Security LIVE! at major AWS events (re:Inforce, re:Invent, Summits) and virtually. You will be responsible for managing the programmatic responsibilities of Security LIVE! including pre-show coordination with AWS hosts, Partner guests, during-show production, and post-show promotion of on-demand replays. In this role, you will collaborate with a number of AWS internal teams including Partner Development Managers (PDMs), Partner Solution Architects (PSA), GTM specialists, marketing, and AWS Service Teams to execute all elements of Security LIVE! and report business results.

This role will be coordinating resources and managing multiple priorities to meet deadlines and overcome challenges.

Key job responsibilities

• Own the programmatic responsibilities of AWS Security LIVE!

• Build and manage a rolling schedule of partner guests, software, service offerings

• Drive awareness internally and externally of Security LIVE!

• Identify and prioritize partner value propositions aligned to security topics and themes to support Security Partner Specialists’ overall business goals

• Drive security partner pipeline creation through Security LIVE! and supporting stakeholder focused GTM campaigns

• Manage preparation and production of Security LIVE! segments with AWS security partners

• Prepare and deliver business reviews to AWS and partner senior leaders including business metrics, goal achievements

• Travel up to 25%

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of program project management or equivalent experience

  • 1+ years proven ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently

  • 1+ years experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Knowledge of Security Fundamentals, CompTIA Security+ or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Cloud Practitioner a plus

  • Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders

  • Experience working with Technology Consulting firms

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $63,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $135,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
