A day in the life…

As the Marketing Workfront System Administrator, you will be responsible for the forward momentum, utilization, and optimization of the Adobe Workfront application. From leading a newly formed Workfront Governance Counsel, enhancing system functionality, to aiding users with better reporting, this position is a critical support role within the Marketing organization. This role reports to the Sr Manager, Marketing PMO, who supports work management and promotes the marriage of systems and processes to advance our marketing end-to-end lifecycle management.

NOTE: This position is offered as a hybrid role in the Seattle, WA. You must be willing to work in-office at the Nordstrom downtown Seattle office a minimum of 3 days/week in order to be considered for this position.

Workfront Governance: Helping drive the Nordstrom use and adoption of Workfront

  • Leads an internal Workfront Governance Counsel responsible for ensuring system standardization and utilization across several different user groups within Marketing and on partnering departmental teams

  • Supports other Group Administrators on system best practices and utilization alterations to best serve their working group while staying compliant with the governance structure

  • Plays a hands-on role in system implementation for system functionality modules or new/existing group rollouts

  • Actively partners with Adobe Workfront account support to understand the Workfront product roadmap and translate it into how enhancements or system changes can benefit Nordstrom

  • Outlines on an annual Workfront enhancement/update plan that incorporates new releases from Adobe paired with current functionality, but perhaps not utilized to its full capability

  • Serves as the single-point-of-contact for our Adobe Workfront supplier relationship related to system development and advancing utilization within the Nordstrom user groups

  • Partners with our internal Marketing Technology group on any architecture or support needs for Workfront

Workfront System Administration and Management: Supporting the system utilization and stability

  • Acts as the Workfront champion and day-to-day resource for the Marketing department

  • Provides technical subject matter expertise and business process knowledge to teams while gathering requirements and supporting business analysis

  • Actively completes system builds, configurations and development tasks for system enhancements

  • Evaluates user feedback submitted via the Workfront Support Queue for system changes and enhancements

  • Partners with Marketing Technology group to manage troubleshooting and assist in recommending solutions to system or user issues

  • Develops projects and reporting within Workfront to track system projects, implementations, and governance

  • Develops projects and reporting within Workfront to track system projects, implementations and governance

  • Conducts regular audits on system utilization and data to increase system quality, resolve inconsistencies and correct workflow and/or system integration processes.

Workfront Process Support: Ensuring Workfront supports and compliments process for efficiency

  • Partners with Marketing leadership and Workfront users to map current state processes and translate into new processes workflows utilizing Workfront to aid inefficiencies

  • Supports capacity planning and resource management efforts to realize and reconcile labor utilization

  • Assists direct leader in mapping future state process and data diagrams to recommend Workfront solutions

  • Assists in implementing process improvements utilizing Workfront to improve workflow management

Workfront Reporting: Creating visibility and understanding of the work and resource utilization

  • Establishes metrics, builds reports and dashboards to aid in user workflow, portfolio/program/projects, channel project types and resource management

  • Performs statistical analysis on gathered data, running queries and makes recommendations

Workfront System Training: Provides training and information to the organization to solidify system understanding and further support utilization

  • As a part of new/updated implementations, leads the communication planning and system training across multiple user groups that include various levels of users

  • Crafts training materials – including but not limited to: training presentations, QRGs (Quick Reference Guides), Job Aids and training videos

  • Assists with new employee onboarding within the Marketing department to ensure familiarity with the Workfront system and understanding of role-specific responsibilities within the system

Adobe Fusion:

  • Builds and maintains complex integrations between Adobe Workfront and other enterprise systems using Adobe Fusion

  • Designs and develops automated workflows to streamline processes and improve data accuracy across systems

  • Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to Workfront Fusion integrations and automations

You own this if you have…

  • 2+ years related professional experience in Workfront system administration

  • 2+ year’s experience in project management or equivalent role

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, Marketing, or equivalent experience

  • Adobe Workfront System administration experience within a large organization

  • Ability to explain complex technical material clearly to users with varying levels of proficiency

  • Deep understanding of the marketing and creative workflow processes

  • Experience in system implementations and enhancements

  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong willingness to learn and grow skills and abilities

  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting to various levels within a matrixed organization

  • Demonstrated ability to motivate your co-workers and inspire a one-team approach

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Washington: $103,000 - $188,500 Annually

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
