HARBORVIEW’S VOLUNTEER SERVICES department has an outstanding opportunity for a VOLUNTEER SERVICES PROGRAM MANAGER WORK SCHEDULE
Full-Time, 100% FTE
Day Shift
100% Onsite POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
Maintain a robust volunteer program for Harborview Medical Center that is in line with their mission.
Showcase your excellent organizational skills and people skills.
Participate in outreach events, solidifying the hospital's presence and influence within the community. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruit, screen, interview, select, orient, and place volunteers
Administer new volunteer training and annual competency training for established volunteers
Evaluate performance of volunteers
Develop, administer, and review policies and procedures for the volunteers
Manage communications about the volunteer program via social media, email, and internet
Manage the use of the vendor tool, Volgistics, volunteer database
Plan and implement volunteer appreciation and recognition events REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
2-3 years of relevant work experience and 1 year of supervisory/administrative experience
Strong teamwork skills and ability to interact with other staff in a professional manner
Demonstrated computer skills
