Blue Origin LLC Valves - Production Associate II in Seattle, Washington

Join a diverse and hardworking team of technicians responsible for the general duties within the valve's assembly group. This role is integral to maintaining the smooth operation of our production lines and ensuring that all tools and equipment are in optimal condition. Special Mentions: Various shifts are available: Day Shift:Monday - Thursday (5:00 AM - 3:30 PM) Weekend Shift:Friday - Sunday (5:00 AM - 5:30 PM) Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management:Maintain necessary inventory levels of manufacturing supplies and tools to support production needs. Tool Handling:Collect, store, and issue hand tools, machine tools, dies, measuring devices, and other equipment. Record Keeping:Maintain records of withdrawals and returns of tooling and locate missing or misplaced tools. Equipment Maintenance:Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition and meet calibration specifications. Stock Management:Order new stock, unpack, and store new equipment. Blueprint Reading:Must have the ability to read and understand blueprints and follow written procedures. Additional Responsibilities: Provide general assistance around the shop, including administrative and technical tasks. Assist with shop loading and work kit preparation. Stock raw materials in appropriate quantities. Clean and maintain equipment as directed. Ensure workers and technicians have the tools necessary to complete their assigned tasks. Serve as a liaison between manufacturing teams, production control, research and development, and engineering. Assist shop managers, supervisors, leads, engineers, and quality as needed. Use basic hand tools and measuring equipment. Package accepted hardware and supplies for storage or shipment. Work safely around chemicals, compressed air, pneumatics, heavy machinery, etc. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Mechanical aptitude. Familiarity with basic hand tools. Capacity to analyze a situation and prioritize tasks. Strong verbal communication skills. Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 30 pounds. Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion. Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
