Robert Half User Experience Designer in Seattle, Washington

Description

Robert Half is seeking a UX Designer on behalf of a global e-commerce enterprise. This role offers an exciting opportunity to design seamless, visually appealing user experiences for a massive audience. The ideal candidate has a passion for crafting intuitive interfaces and thrives on delivering customer-obsessed solutions for both web and mobile platforms.

Location: Seattle, WA (hybrid/onsite)

Duration: 3 months

Hours: 40 hours/week

Pay Rate: $50-56/hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements, market research, and customer feedback into scenarios, use cases, and high-level requirements.

  • Create conceptual sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interaction specifications to guide development.

  • Prototype designs using tools like HTML, JavaScript, CSS, or platforms such as Axure or Flash Catalyst.

  • Develop and maintain scalable design patterns to ensure consistency and efficiency across platforms.

  • Lead brainstorming sessions and present design concepts, features, and user flows to stakeholders.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, researchers, and product managers, to ensure smooth implementation of designs.

  • Analyze data, usability studies, and customer insights to inform and iterate on design decisions.

    Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience delivering UX or interaction design solutions.

  • A robust online portfolio showcasing your work.

  • Expertise in prototyping tools (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Axure).

  • Proficiency in FIGMA with at least 3 years of experience.

  • UX/UI design expertise with a strong eye for visuals

  • Prototyping and interactive design experience.

  • Ability to interpret data and insights to develop customer-centered solutions.

  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience conducting user research, including usability testing and concept validation.

  • Skilled in building clickable prototypes for testing and presentation.

  • Experience designing for mass-market consumer web and mobile products.

  • Strong background in collaborating with development teams to bring designs to life.
