Slalom LLC Temporary Senior, Tax Accountant or Lead, Tax Accountant in Seattle, Washington
Location: Seattle (in office days 1-2 days/week) Who You'll Work With Global Services is comprised of collaborative, inclusive, cross-functional teams that work together to support our corporate functions. The Role: Senior, Tax Accountant or Lead, Tax Accountant Slalom's Global Tax Team is growing quickly as a result of the company's international expansion! The individual in this position will initially focus on assembling data for yearend tax compliance. This is an excellent opportunity if you are interested in a variety of tasks with different tax types and jurisdictions. What You'll Do This position's primary focus will be preparing data and assisting with foreign tax compliance. It will also support team-wide processes. Recurring tasks may include: • Preparation of data for various tax returns, including VAT/GST, income tax, property tax, and others • Preparation of tax accrual and tax provision calculations, journal entries, and tax account reconciliations • Participation in special projects, developmental opportunities, and cross-functional support as part of a highly collaborative team What You'll Bring We are looking for someone with: • A strong foundation of accounting and/or tax knowledge • Strong proficiency using Oracle ERP/accounting systems, MS Excel, and reporting tools to obtain required data for tax purposes • A desire to learn and leverage automation tools including Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot, and others. • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills • A desire to come into the Seattle office 1-2 days per week About Us Slalom is a next-generation professional services company creating value at the intersection of business, technology, and humanity. For the Senior Tax Accountant, the targeted hourly rate is $35-$44 and for the Lead, Tax Accountant the targeted hourly rate is $38-$52.
