Starbucks Coffee Company Systems Engineer Sr in Seattle, Washington
Systems Engineer Sr:
- Designing, implementing, and supporting Starbucks platforms and cloud SaaS applications.
- Spearhead automated SDLC workflows from Pull Request to Prod release, with a primary focus on eliminating manual toil.
- Identifying root causes of operational issues and leading medium to large-scale projects for resolution.
- Developing automation strategies for incident prevention and resolution.
- Serving as an escalation point for troubleshooting customer-impacting incidents and outages.
- Proactively identifying and resolving problems and contributing to permanent resolutions.
- Defining work instructions for monitoring and testing application performance, collaborating with developers to implement fixes.
Telecommuting permitted up to 100% from anywhere in the US.
Full time employment, Monday -- Friday, 40 hours per week. Salary: $190,486 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-bachelor's experience in a systems engineering or related role; or a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, plus 3 years of experience in a systems engineering or related role.
Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:
- Cloud Development, specifically in Microsoft Azure.
- Coding in two or more computer languages (C#, Java, PowerShell, or Python).
- Azure Service Fabric in a large enterprise setting.
- New Relic and Splunk for comprehensive monitoring and analysis.
- Production support and resolving customer-impacting issues.
- Implementing Azure technologies, including Azure Application Gateway, AKS, Service Bus, and WCF relay.
- Compiling and deploying MSIs.
Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:
- Cloud monitoring tools, encompassing Application Insights or CloudWatch.
- Command-line interface (CLI) experience with Azure, AWS, or GCS.
