Robert Half Systems Administrator in Seattle, Washington
Description
A client of ours at Robert Half is looking for a Systems Administrator in the Seattle area to join their growing IT team. The ideal candidate will bring experience with supporting both Windows & Mac OS, Azure, and basic Networking/Security skills and knowledge. This position will be fully on-site in Seattle with potential for up to 1 remote day per week. This will be the sole Systems Administrator supporting around 250 employees but will also have some collaboration with their Engineering team as well.
The main areas this person will oversee are:
Administration of systems: Administer user accounts, permission levels, and leverage SSO solutions to manage access rights across systems and applications.
Network/infrastructure management: Configure and manage network devices such as routers, WAPs, switches, and AV equipment while troubleshooting connectivity issues and optimizing network traffic.
Security & compliance: Assist in compliance and security audits. Address and resolve potential gaps and vulnerabilities.
Top-tier customer service: Maintain the highest level of customer support through proactive management and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives. Provide a high-touch, white-glove experience.

Requirements
Must haves:
Bachelor's Degree in a technology related field
3+ years in a Help Desk, Security, or other IT Systems administration role
2+ years of supporting Windows & Mac OS
2+ years of Azure
Experience with implementing & managing Microsoft Cloud services such as InTune
Networking experience - TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi
Knowledge of security solutions, policies, frameworks, & privacy regulations (SOC1, SOC2, ISO 27001, GDPR)
Nice to haves:
Experience in or understanding of start-up/growth companies in the tech/SaaS industry.
Any Microsoft certifications
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Powershell
Previous experience with ITIL practices
AWS experience
