Starbucks Coffee Company System Analyst Sr in Seattle, Washington
System Analyst Sr:
- Creates solution designs utilizing user-centric design techniques.
- Utilizes best techniques to develop business process designs and improve operations via process re-engineering efforts.
- Propose optimal solution(s) options delivering required business capabilities.
- Utilizes agile delivery methodologies and participates on scrum teams in execution of solution delivery projects.
- Applies Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) design concepts.
- Performs application configuration (i.e. create attributes, workflows and UI changes) in support of solution delivery initiatives.
- Partners with development team in agile design/development of custom solution components. Performs code reviews as required.
- Defines and develops approaches for data conversion. Performs the extract, load, and validation of converted data.
- Supports solution testing efforts by developing test plans, preparing test environments, performing test execution, and validating test
- Provides 24*7 global support of critical systems and drives system
- Engages in root cause analysis and assesses issue trends.
- Creates and maintains systems documentation (e.g. Wiki, Knowledge Base Articles).
- Develops and facilitates system training.
- Uses query tools to write ad-hoc queries for mass data analysis and operational reports.
Telecommuting permitted up to 40% per week.
Full time employment, Monday -- Friday, 40 hours per week. Pay Range: $162,531 - $180,500 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive, post-bachelor's experience in a system engineering or related role.
Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:
- Performing systems development lifecycle and IT operations using Agile and Waterfall.
- Analyzing, configuring, implementing, and supporting HCM ERP systems.
- Engaging in analysis using ad hoc query tools.
- Utilizing user-centric design concepts in conjunction with agile development and testing processes to support development of highly engaging technology
- Assessing, designing and deploying sustainable technology
Telecommuting permitted up to 40% per week.
Domestic travel required up to 6% per year.
