BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Supply Chain Planner 4 Job for an opportunity at Remote, Preference is Hybrid (Min 2days/week in Seattle)! Position Title: Supply Chain Planner 4 Location: Remote, Preference is Hybrid (Min 2days/week in Seattle) Anticipated Start Date: ASAP Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. Expected Duration: Contract of 11 Months and possibility of extension Job Type: Contract and Remote/Hybrid Pay Range: $48 - $51/hr. Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Top Skills: * Years of Experience Required: 8-10 overall years of experience in the field. * Degrees or certifications required: business background in supply chain, engineering undergrad with work experience in supply chain would be preferred this role. * Minimum 8-10 years' experience with Project/Program Management Skills in a Supply Chain Environment. * Minimum 8-10 years' experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint. * Minimum 8-10 years' experience with SAP/D365 Job Description: Summary: The main function of a Supply Chain Planner is to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule. A typical Supply Chain Planner is responsible for reviewing and distributing production, work and shipment schedules and compiling reports on inventory levels, cost, etc. Job Responsibilities: * Review and approve documents, materials, and products, and monitor work processes in order to assess completeness, accuracy and conformation to standards and specifications. * Review and approve documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements, and material priorities. * Confer with department supervisors and other personnel to assess progress and discuss needed changes. * Revise production schedule, when required, due to design changes, labor or material shortages or other interruptions. * Distribute production schedules and work orders to departments. * Confer with establishment personnel, vendors, and customers to coordinate production and shipping activities and resolve complaints or eliminate delays. Skills: * Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, problem solving and interpersonal skills. * Strong ability to analyze costs related to manufacturing, labor and materials. * Strong ability to accurately document and record customer/client information. * Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback. * Strong knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production. * Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel. Education/Experience: * High school diploma or GED required. * 8-10 years related experience required.
