The Office of the Insurance Commissioner (OIC) is seeking two (2) motivated and qualified individuals to fill our Staff{#msoanchor1 tabindex="0" rel="nofollow"} Examiner (Financial Examiner 2) positions. These roles are within the Company Supervision Division and offers the chance to work from our Seattle Downtown Office.

*About the Position *

These positions are responsible for examining regulated entities for solvency and compliance with laws, statutes, or regulations in accordance with National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) accreditation standards and Agency policies.

  • Work related travel: At times, financial examiners may travel to business conferences or to the insurance companies we exam in and out of the state. This affords employees the opportunities to forge connections with co-workers, financial examiners from other state insurance departments, the companies we audit and see new places.

This recruitment may be used to establish a qualified pool of candidates for Financial Examiner 2 vacancies in the next sixty days.

This is a Washington General Service position. The monthly salary range for this position is $5,643 - $7,589{#msoanchor3 tabindex="0" rel="nofollow"}.

Additional premium pay of 5% will be applied to those positions with an official King County duty station.
