We are looking for a Senior Manager to lead the Prime Offer scaling and optimization in the WW Prime Acquisition org. The Prime Acquisition org is at the forefront of driving Prime member growth by acquiring Prime members on Amazon. The Offer scaling and optimization charter includes launching free and paid on-ramps (e.g. 30-day Free Trial, Paid Trial, Intro Offer, etc.); scaling them across partners, onsite locations and locales; and optimizing and targeting the right offer for the right customer through ML and heuristics. In this role, you will be a manager-of-manager for 3 teams. You will help guide the team to develop distributed systems to manage run time eligibility and targeting of Offers, build automation to scale offers to 50+ touch points of Amazon customers and partner with research scientists to provide the hand-curated personalized recommendation for customers.

Key job responsibilities

• Build a best-in-class engineering team that delivers excellent results through rapid iterations. Cultivate engineering and operational excellence through metrics and continuous learning

• Building a team culture around technical excellence and strong delivery. Managing a team of engineers and managers to deliver

• Driving the technical vision for Prime Acquisition to make a personalized offer recommendation to customer in all their touch points with Amazon - Retail Website, Prime Video, Gaming, Physical Stores etc.

• Partner with dependent teams in building a lean and nimble tech stack that enables launch of Prime offers at scale

• Define the strategy for the team to think ahead of the business opportunities and perfect in execution

• Collaborate with cross functional teams to capture requirements, understand dependencies, define architecture, and implement scalable solutions

• Mentor and grow superstar SDMs and SDEs to take on increasingly higher responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of engineering experience

  • 5+ years of engineering team management experience

  • 10+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience

  • Experience partnering with product or program management teams

  • Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience partnering with product and program management teams

  • Experience designing and developing large scale, high-traffic applications

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $198,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $342,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
