Project Manager Job Description

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for leading complex, high-priority projects or key phases of larger programs, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and within scope. They coordinate cross-functional teams, interface with stakeholders, and oversee all aspects of projects from initiation to closure. The PM ensures adherence to quality standards, compliance, and organizational goals, while exemplifying leadership and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, and scope changes.
  • Communication: Provide clear, concise project updates to stakeholders and teams.
  • Leadership: Build collaborative, trust-based team environments with a focus on urgency and results.
  • Compliance: Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project records, including charters, RACI matrices, and lessons learned.
  • Continuous Improvement: Conduct reviews to enhance future project delivery.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; PMP certification preferred.
  • 6+ years of progressive project management experience in matrix organizations.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office tools, including Microsoft Project.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects within budget and time constraints.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic environments and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in data and analytics programs is a plus.
