Job Description: Project Manager - Content Management Transformation

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the Content Management Transformation project. This initiative aims to replace legacy content management systems with a modern, aviation-focused, cloud-based solution designed for offline mobile use. The new system will improve the creation, approval, publishing, and distribution of operational manuals, bulletins, and essential company information.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Kickoff: Define project goals, scope, deliverables, and milestones.
  • Project Leadership: Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and resource allocation while ensuring team roles and responsibilities are clearly outlined.
  • Change Management: Partner with internal teams to implement change strategies and ensure resources are allocated effectively.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify, document, and mitigate risks while resolving issues efficiently.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster alignment through regular communication and bi-weekly status updates.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation for traceability and future reference.
  • Launch & Sustainment: Execute a seamless launch, including testing, rehearsals, contingency planning, and sustainment plans.
  • Project Closure: Deliver a fully completed project with lessons learned.

Requirements:

  • 11+ years of project management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent additional experience.
  • Proficiency with Content Management Systems (CMS), including migration and integration expertise.
  • Experience in developing policies and procedures (preferred).
  • Strong vendor management skills.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and work with diverse stakeholders.
