Amazon Sr. Program Manager - Supply Chain, Strategic Account Services in Seattle, Washington

The Strategic Account Services (SAS) organization strives to provide a suite of services designed to help any seller, at any point in their selling journey, accelerate growth in the Amazon store. SAS is supported by a team of specialists focused on the inputs to seller growth including increasing selection, improving catalog quality, optimizing supply chain programs, maximizing profitability and advertising spend while educating on account health to drive seller growth. Our team invents and innovates across technology, processes and people to enhance the services we offer, improve Seller engagement and satisfaction, and build scalable solutions.

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain expert to join Amazon's fast paced, highly collaborative start-up like environment. In this role, you will work with Premium Beauty sellers to optimize their supply chain logistics and profitability. This role works across many internal stakeholders, across multiple organizations and is highly visible to leadership. To be successful in this role, you need to feel comfortable partnering with external stakeholders, managing financial and programmatic tradeoffs, building cost-benefit scenarios that are scalable and designing the right mechanisms to help sellers with their supply chain logistics. Key job responsibilities

(1) Build supply chain strategies for premium beauty sellers and manage the full lifecycle of complex initiatives/goals. Will be required to report progress and blockers towards these goals up to a Director level.

(2) Identify and understand tradeoffs between different Amazon supply chain products and programs, depending on product family and additional business nuances to best support sellers in navigating Amazon’s offerings. Use high judgment to take smart risks and innovate where necessary.

(3) Have a proven track record in stakeholder management. Will work across multiple Amazon teams to align on priorities, be the voice of the sellers, influence tech and product team’s roadmaps and build internal strategies that help us move quickly towards product and program adoption.

(4) Proactive monitoring and continuous improvement of supply chain KPIs (e.g. Instock, Capacity utilization, FBA Adoption, C-Returns etc.) to improve Speed of delivery for Customers and Optimize cost of business for Sellers and Amazon via scalable mechanisms.

(5) Influence roadmap priorities of partner teams (product/program/operations) and reach consensus on approach/prioritization.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Ability to build effective partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders, senior leaders throughout Amazon and external customers, such as sellers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

  • 3+ years in the supply chain field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
