Amazon Sr Program Manager, Enterprise Engineering Business Operations in Seattle, Washington

Description

Amazon’s Enterprise Engineering (EE) Business Operations (BizOps) is a team of TPMs which runs an organization of 400+ Amazonians and executes cross-cutting programs across EE and Amazon.

As a Sr PM on the EE BizOps team, you will drive recurring rhythm of business activities (annual operating plans, monthly/quarterly business reviews, financial forecasts, goal setting, strategic vision) along with programs to improve employee satisfaction and employee productivity. You will define, scope and execute multiple simultaneous end-to-end programs based on data-driven analysis, collection of business/system requirements and creation of software architecture specifications. You will introduce initiatives to improve the productivity of the EE organization as a whole by streamlining process, reducing toil and improving employee morale.

Your ability to remove ambiguity, manage dependencies, communicate effectively, and dive deep into technical details is essential. Successful candidates will be able to balance an ambitious strategic vision with pratical reality, deliver achievable software plans and effectively communicate to executive audiences.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
