Amazon Sr. Product Marketing Manager, Outbound Marketing, Seller Recruitment & Success in Seattle, Washington

We’re looking for an experienced marketer and self-motivated individual, with experience driving the strategic development and execution of outbound communications, primarily through email marketing.

In 2022, more than 60% of all Amazon sales came from third-party sellers, and their growth represents a major lever to increased selection for Amazon customers. The Selling Partner Recruitment & Success (SPRS) team’s vision is to ensure all business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs are aware of the opportunity to sell on Amazon, to enable them to launch through self-service registration, and to help them discover their personalized path to success.

As a Sr. Product Marketing Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in developing our outbound communication strategy and protecting the Seller experience. This role owns a high-impact project, building mechanisms that effectively scale results-driven outbound campaigns to accelerate Seller success. Our ideal candidate has a high sense of ownership with a customer-centric approach, and a strong expertise in email marketing and analytics. Your expertise in email marketing governance and best practices will ensure a consistent focus on quality, performance, and compliance. The candidate for this role excels at managing cross-functional stakeholder relationships, strategy development and executing tactical plans to deliver measurable results.

Key job responsibilities

• Manage stakeholder relationships (e.g. Sales, Product, Tech) to define business requirements, achieve goal alignment and drive adoption

• Leverage data and insights to optimize campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement at the campaign and program level to drive ROI

• Establish governance and conduct regular audits to ensure all automated emails follow best practices and are compliant with CAN-SPAM regulations, data privacy policies, Amazon legal policies

• Drive robust and detailed measurement and reporting processes to track relevant KPI’s

• Deliver recurring business reviews and key insights to stakeholders to inform optimizations and program roadmap

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong B2B email marketing automation experience (e.g., Pardot, Marketo, Eloqua)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
