Amazon Sr. Product Marketing Manager, Alexa Enterprise in Seattle, Washington

We are looking for an experienced PMM to join our Alexa Enterprise marketing team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work across both Alexa Marketing and Alexa Enterprise to drive excitement for our products. Working closely with product management and business development, you will own the global product marketing strategy for our target verticals, including hospitality and senior living.

Enterprise Product Marketing Managers (PMMs) are responsible for developing crisp and compelling content for target audiences of Alexa Enterprise. We educate current and future partners on the value of Alexa to improve their customer experience and drive their core KPIs. We define and drive the go-to-market strategy for current and future, cutting-edge, next-generation technologies. We build marketing programs to drive awareness, customer engagement, adoption, and retention. You will partner with Product, Engineering, and Business Development teams to shape the product vision. You will work on a strategic and growing area of our business, and have a big impact every day.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of leading successful product marketing programs and working collaboratively across multiple organizations to deliver results. The successful candidate will have the ability to manage multiple milestones and shifting requirements in a fluid, fast-moving environment—while keeping senior stakeholders updated on your progress.

Key job responsibilities

• You will be a PMM responsible for defining our positioning and messaging to enterprise organizations and channel partners, as well as supporting customer messaging and BD collateral.

• You will create compelling content to help customers understand the use cases and value propositions of our solutions, and build the right marketing programs to increase adoption.

• You will help define the strategy, and collaborate closely with other marketers across our organization.

• You will get to work on a strategic, growing business and have a big impact every day.

• You will be responsible for defining the go-to-market strategy for your vertical, enabling BD to drive scalable growth and driving awareness, adoption, and usage.

• As part of your role, you will make recommendations on marketing plans and product roadmaps.

A day in the life

The average day for Alexa Enterprise Marketing is dynamic and cross-functional in nature. You will collaborate closely with Product, BD, Marketing, SA and other teams to create content, develop marketing programs, enable channel partners, and align the organization on positioning and messaging. We have a bias for action to develop marketing assets (e.g., website, videos, success stories, blogs, presentations, sales enablement tools, etc.). We seamlessly transition from working on strategic plans to creative ideation to detailed execution. We work together and pick each other up when workloads shift, balancing our time and juggling multiple priorities We enjoy supporting a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  • Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in one or more of these target verticals: hospitality, healthcare, senior living, or telco.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
